Banana Accounting allows you to create budgets and financial plans using the same methodology as accounting.
Integrated budget management makes it possible to simulate the future development of the business in a simple and professional way, without having to use separate tools for economic and financial planning.

Budgeting in Banana Accounting differs from many other management systems because it is not a separate module or a simple budgeting tool, but is integrated directly into the accounting logic of the program.

The planning function, with forecasts for costs, revenues and liquidity, is integrated and available in all Banana Accounting Plus applications.

The advantage of managing the budget within the same accounting file

  • Directly in the Budget column of the Accounts table.
Enter the budget amounts on an annual basis.
In reports by period, the program divides the amounts according to the period (month, quarter, half-year, year). In this case, the allocated budget values are the same for each period.

  • Using the Budget table, ideal for highly customizable and precise budgets.
This is an advanced and detailed budget because, in addition to the amounts, future transactions are entered like normal transactions. In this case, if a transaction does not apply to the entire year but only to a specific period, when entering the forecast transaction you can indicate the period or the end date to which it applies.

In the reports, you always have updated:
    • Future costs and revenues
    • Forecast financial position
    • Liquidity plan
    • Forecast balance sheet and income statement

The two methods differ in the level of detail, available features and type of planning they provide.
