    Introduction

This guide explains how to use the XBRL Report Switzerland extension to prepare an XBRL CH report from a Banana Accounting file.

The process consists of three phases:

    1. Map the accounts in the operational chart of accounts to the corresponding XBRL CH taxonomy concepts.
    2. Complete the entity, reporting-period, profit-allocation and notes information required for the report.
    3. Review the generated reports and validation results before generating the XBRL CH file.

The extension is currently available for testing and is not intended for production use or official filing.

XBRL CH report and XBRL Mapping Reference

Two elements are important for understanding the process:

    • XBRL CH report.
    • XBRL Mapping Reference.

    XBRL CH report

The XBRL CH taxonomy defines the concepts, relationships, rules, and information structures used for Swiss financial and tax reporting. For further information, see:

    XBRL Mapping Reference

The extension uses the Swiss SME chart of accounts as the reference structure for this process. For the mapping rules, account ranges, XBRL tags, and sign handling, see:
