Training documentation created in a collaborative way

In this article

Digital technologies offer great opportunities to improve and make training material available and less expensive for students.

Preparing and keeping support material for accounting training up to date is a complex and time-consuming activity. Accounting or other software can no longer be developed by one single person alone, and thus, support training material needs to be developed in a group as well.

Teachers must therefore equip themselves with collaborative tools, similar to those used in programming, which allow them to develop and keep the training material up to date. They must therefore allow for:

  • The individual teacher to work independently.
  • To share the changes and improvements with others

It is also important to adopt a software license that will allow for use and modifications.

Institutions and schools must encourage collaboration between teachers.
