Evaluation of investments report

The report provides a comprehensive overview of your current investments. It is divided into two main sections:

• Appraisal Report: Offers a snapshot of your investments, comparing the book value of each investment with its current market value.
• Investment Accounting Transactions: Displays a detailed list of all transactions carried out for each investment.

Appraisal Report

The Appraisal Report helps you quickly assess the situation of your investments. It displays key information such as book value, current market value, and any unrealized gains or losses for each investment.

To obtain an up-to-date appraisal, enter the current market price for each investment in the Price Current column of the Items table.

• Type/Security: Name of the group or investment.
• ISIN: ISIN or other identification number of the investment.
• Currency: Currency in which the investment is denominated.
• Current quantity: Current quantity of the investment held.
• Book value per unit: Current book value per unit of the investment.
• Book value: Total book value of the investment.
• Market value per unit: Current market price per unit of the investment, as defined in the Price Current column of the Items table.
• Market value: Current market value of the investment.
• % of Port: Percentage of the total portfolio represented by the investment.
• Un.Gain or Loss: Unrealized gain or loss on the investment.
• % G/L: Ratio of the unrealized gain or loss to the market value.

Investment Accounting Transactions Report

The report summarises the accounting transactions recorded for each investment.

Saving and Exporting the Report

The report can be exported and saved at any time. For more information, see Printouts/preview.

Error Messages

• Items table not found: The Items table is not present in the accounting file.
  • Add the Items table to your file.
• No Asset found in the Items table: The Items table does not contain any Asset.
  • Add Assets to the Items table.
  • A valid Asset must have an ID and an Asset Account.
