Why switch to an annual subscription?
There are many reasons, but the main one is that it's the only way to keep quality software up-to-date and respond to changes quickly. The subscription also has several benefits for you: you always have the latest version, each new feature is introduced and explained individually, there’s no time lost installing updates or retrieving lost license keys, etc. Previous versions of Banana Accounting will no longer be updated. What's the difference between Banana Accounting Plus and Banana Accounting 9?
Banana Accounting 9 is an old standalone version. Its last release was in December 2019 and it hasn’t been developed further. Banana Accounting Plus has ongoing updates, all included in the annual subscription. The Advanced plan includes several features that speed up and automate your work.
Can I install Banana Accounting Plus on multiple devices?
Yes. With one subscription (same user email), you can install Banana Accounting Plus on 5 devices used by the same person (desktop, laptop, mobile devices, etc.). For businesses, please visit the Multi-users page. Users license applies.
If I subscribe to a paid plan, can I cancel anytime?
Both the subscription and payment are annual. When you log in to your Banana user account, you can always see the status of your subscription, expiration date, associated email, and other information. You can also disable the auto-renewal default setting. More information...
Does Banana Accounting 9 still work?
- Yes, Banana Accounting 9, or any previous version, remains installed on your computer until you decide to uninstall it, or until system updates prevent it from functioning.
- Previous versions, including version 9, are no longer being developed. They are not guaranteed to work with the latest operating systems.
- For version 9, the latest release is 9.0.5, released in December 2019. You can check which release you have from the Help menu > About Banana Accounting.
Does it work on all operating systems?
Banana Accounting Plus can be installed on Windows, Mac, and Linux. The program is also available for free on Android and iOS.
*Why didn’t I get the free month?
The free month is credited automatically if you purchased your version from 2018 onward and if your email has remained the same. For old versions purchased before 2018 you need to contact us. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
