Banana Accounting began to be used for teaching accounting in the nineties. The first uses of the software were meant to demonstrate how an accounting program worked and was later used by students to practice accounting in various areas.

Thanks to constant contact with the various schools, Banana Accounting integrated requirements that emerged during teaching into the development of it's software.

    The DR Congo wants the training of accounting technicians to be done with modern tools, so that when students enter the labour market, they are at the forefront of their field and can encourage the adoption by companies of digital business management technologies. The Department of Education has chosen Banana Accounting and is introducing it successfully and very quickly in all business schools in the nation.
