Banana 7 for Windows
- Windows 2008, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (early releases).
NOT compatible with Windows 11 (please upgrade to Banana Plus) - 150 MB of hard disk space
- Internet connection for accessing the program help
Banana 7 is no longer updated since 2014 and is NOT designed for Windows 11.
We recommend using Banana Accounting Plus, the latest version.
Banana 7 for Mac OS X
- Supported systems: Mac OSX 64 Bit, Versions 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 "El Capitan"
- Not supported: OSX 32 Bit, iOS and iPad
- Not supported: MacOS Sierra (10.12), there are compatibility issues due to new requirements imposed by macOS.
Keep the previous OS version, or if you install MacOS Sierra upgrade Banana Accounting to Version 10 (Banana Plus).
- Intel processor (PowerPC processors are not supported)
- 150 MB of hard disk space
- Internet connection for accessing the program help
Banana 7 is no longer updated since 2014 and is NOT designed for Mac OSX 11 Big Sur, MacOS 12 Monterey, MacOS 13 Ventura. Although it may run, it is classified as "unstable" due to compatibility issues. We recommend using Banana Accounting Plus, the latest version.
Banana 7 for Linux
- Ubuntu 12.04 and later versions, OpenSUSE 12.2 and later versions,
other distributions with limitations - Dependencies: libc6 (>= 2.15), libstdc++6 (>= 3.4.15), libfontconfig1, libglib2.0-0, libgtk2.0-0, libpng12-0
- 150 MB of hard disk space
- Internet connection for accessing the program help
Additional information
- The required disk space depends on the number of transactions and accounts entered in the accounting. An accounting file with 200 accounts and 2000 transactions requires approx. 3 MB of disk space.
- The number of accounting files is unlimited.
- Files created with different versions (Windows, Mac and Linux) are interchangeable.
- The program, like Excel, is single-user. Only one person at a time can edit a file.
- The Windows version can be installed on a server and the application launched on client computers.
- The program can be used with Terminal Server or other similar remote desktop technologies.
