Warning: there are imbalances. Continue anyway?

Causes

There are errors resulting in incorrect balances in your accounting.

1. Account opening balances are incorrect and hence do not add up
2. There are differences in the Transactions table
3. Exchange rate difference have not been calculated

Solution

Chose the Actions menu > Check accounting; verify all the error messages generated by the program and correct.
