Both templates are preconfigured with sample investment accounts and account groups, providing a ready-to-use starting point for managing securities with Banana Investment Accounting. The chart of accounts can be customized to suit your specific requirements.
The Double-Entry Accounting template is suitable for managing investments in the base currency only.
The Multi-Currency Accounting template allows you to manage investments in foreign currencies. The Exchange Rates table lets you define the currencies you use, while the Accounts table already includes the accounts required to record foreign exchange gains and losses.
