New Release 10.2.2 of Banana Accounting+

The new update (release) 10.2.2 of Banana Accounting Plus is now available! It introduces numerous improvements and fixes some issues reported by users, offering an even smoother and more optimized experience. We invite you to download and install the update to keep your accounting efficient and stable.

If you already have an active subscription, this new release is free.

• To update, just re-download and install Banana (all your data will be preserved).
• We recommend checking the system requirements before proceeding with the update.

Thanks to your suggestions, we continue to improve Banana Accounting Plus, to offer you a more complete and reliable tool every day.

Here are the main features introduced in the new release 10.2.2:

• Copy the sum of selected cells - For greater flexibility in analysis.
• Structured addresses - Street and house number separated according to Swiss standards.
• New columns in the Items table - To improve Investment accounting.
• Improved user interface and accessibility - More intuitive contextual help and filtering.
• Improved report for Income and Expense accounting - You can also add custom columns.
• Various other improvements and issue fixes.

Copy the sum of selected cells

This new feature allows you to copy to the clipboard the sum of the selected cells in the Transactions table. It offers practical advantages in daily work, simplifying checks and analysis: you save time and can immediately paste the total into documents, Excel sheets, or personal notes.

To use it, simply select the cells of the desired amounts, click on “Sum” at the bottom next to the Zoom, and paste the result where needed.

Structured addresses

In Switzerland, starting from November 21, 2025, address information for QR invoices must be provided in a structured format. For those who want to try it out, this version already includes a new Street Number column, enabling enhanced support for structured address formats.

Specifically:

• New field “Street Number” in the Address section of the File Properties (Basic data).
• New column “Street Number” in the Accounts table (Address view).
• New column “Street Number” also in the Contacts table of the Offers and Invoices Application.

New columns in the Items table

To make the Investment Accounting clearer and more intuitive, new columns have been added to the Items table:

• AssetAccount
• AssetType

In addition, in the menu Actions > Check accounting, a new Items section has been added with the option "Asset accounts opening balances", which helps detect any discrepancies between the opening values of securities and the opening balances of the corresponding accounts.

Improved user interface and accessibility

The user experience is now even more intuitive and accessible:

• Enhanced contextual help menu.
• Easier and more precise filtering in tables.
• Better accessibility for column headers and auto-completion.
• Optimized regional integration with the operating system.

Improved report for Income and Expense accounting

When printing a styled report of an income and expense accounting, you can now also include custom columns that you’ve added to the accounting file.

Other changes

• Technological improvement thanks to the upgrade to Qt libraries 6.8.5 and LibHaru 2.4.4.
• Bug fixes.
