This message is displayed when the Rename command has been used and the rename operation fails.The second part of the message contains a detailed description of the error.

There are unknown types of columns in the accounting file that was created. The file was most probably created via a more recent version of Banana Accounting Software, than the one you are using.

Multiple non-contiguous rows or cells were selected, and the command can not be executed.

Solution

Select one single cell or area and run the command again.

Cause

The numerical value entered in the column is greater than the maximum value permitted.

Solution

Check the permitted limit for the column via the command Columns setups>Settings section.

You are trying to modify rows that are protected.

Check the Edit menu>Unprotect rows command to undo protection.
