Mnero Diocesan Hospital is located in Nachingwea District in the Lindi Region in southern Tanzania. This region is one of the poorest in Tanzania. The hospital has about 95 beds and provides medical facilities for Mnero and the surrounding villages, with an estimated population of 100,000 people. The total area covered by patients is even more significant, as the hospital receives people from over 100 km from Mnero village.
Joel Mbiye is a freelance software developer based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
He has worked with Banana.ch and the Congolese Ministry of Education to develop the OHADA and DRC’s VAT reporting extensions for the Banana Accounting software.
