As of November 21, 2025, an important change for the generation of QR invoices has come into force in Switzerland: it has become mandatory to provide the address in a structured format.

We are republishing this article to inform those who are still not aware of this obligation and to remind everyone of the importance of complying with the new provisions. To facilitate the transition and avoid errors, Banana Accounting Plus had already introduced the necessary updates.

Available changes and updates

The version 10.2.5 of Banana Accounting Plus introduces full support for structured addresses, in line with the new regulations. Here are the main new features:

  • New Building Number field in the Address section of the File Properties (Basic data).
  • New Building Number column in the Accounts table (Address view).
  • New Building Number column in the Contacts table.

These changes make it possible to manage street names and street numbers separately in Banana Accounting.
