PostFinance is informing its users about the need for a gradual transition from the ISO 2014 version to the updated ISO 2019 version.
What is it about?
It is still the international ISO 20022 standard for exporting banking data, which has simply been updated to include new features. The ISO 20022 standard defines different formats depending on the function:
- camt.052 / camt.053 / camt.054 -> For import
- pain.001 / pain.008 -> For payments
- pacs.008 / pacs.009 -> For interbank payments

Banana Accounting Plus is already compatible
All users can import files in the new ISO 2019 format (camt05x.001.08 – SPS 2022) without any issues. Compatibility is guaranteed and has already been active for some time in the Banana Accounting Plus version.

Important for users of previous versions of Banana Accounting
The new format has not been tested with older versions, therefore we cannot guarantee that the import will be successful. In case of issues, it is necessary to switch to the current subscription version.
Users who own an older license can easily switch to Banana Accounting Plus and get 1 month free.
