We are looking for a senior, commercially driven Go-to-Market Lead to establish and grow Banana Accounting in the Netherlands, to lead our Dutch market growth. This is our first dedicated hire for the Dutch market and a key role in executing an ambitious growth agenda.
The product is mature, fully localized, and already present in the market. What we now need is a strong commercial profile who can combine B2B sales execution with digital marketing and market development, taking ownership of customer acquisition, partnerships, and early market traction.
This role offers significant autonomy and leadership potential, as we expect to expand our Dutch presence over the coming years.
Your role
Reporting directly to management, you will lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for the Netherlands. You will act as the local commercial owner of the market, combining strategy with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for the Dutch market, aligned with company objectives.
- Driving customer acquisition through a mix of B2B sales, partnerships, digital marketing, and product-led growth initiatives.
- Building and managing relationships with key customers, partners, resellers, accountants, educators, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Actively promoting Banana Accounting by positioning its value proposition, use cases, best practices, and success stories.
- Leading digital marketing activities for the Dutch market (content, campaigns, funnels, conversion optimization), in collaboration with the central team.
- Gathering structured market and customer feedback and translating it into actionable insights for product, marketing, and strategy.
- Contributing to and overseeing high-quality Dutch-language content (documentation, tutorials, onboarding materials) with a commercial mindset.
- Laying the groundwork for future growth, with the potential to build and lead a local team as the market scales.

- Comfortable operating independently in an early-stage market setup, with full ownership and accountability.
- Able to bridge sales, marketing, and product, translating market needs into concrete actions.
- Clear communicator who builds trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
Experience & qualifications
- Relevant higher education in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software as a service (SaaS), ideally in commercial, go-to-market, or growth-focused roles; demonstrated experience in sales and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, funnels, and long-term customer value.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, or financial software is a strong advantage.
