This ready-to-use Banana Accounting template allows you to manage securities and financial investments in multiple currencies, with USD (US dollar) as the accounting base currency.
The template is specifically designed for Separate Investment Accounting (Subledger), enabling you to maintain detailed investment records in a dedicated accounting file, independently of your general accounting.
You can manage shares, bonds, and other financial investments denominated in USD, EUR, CHF, and other currencies, tracking quantities, prices, Book Values, Market Values, dividends, interest, realized and unrealized gains and losses, and exchange rate differences.
The template includes a predefined chart of accounts dedicated to investment accounting, an Items table for managing securities, example investment transactions, and an Exchange Rates table for handling foreign currencies.
The separate investment accounting file can serve as an investment subledger for your general accounting, whether it is maintained in Banana Accounting or another accounting software.
