"In late 1999 when I discovered that the accounting program I had been
using for 15 years was not y2k-ready, I searched the internet for
another. I discovered Banana 4.0 and purchased it.
I keep books for
a small non-profit organization and also, having been a bookkeeper all
of my adult life, I use Banana for my own personal accounting. It is
easy to use and can be "customized". I must say I consider it FABULOUS
and the little organization is quite satisfied with what I am able to
do for them.
Being 75 and not as computer-literate as the younger
generation, I have had need of Banana's support on occasion and must
say that they are more than excellent in their responses. Once, one of
the support persons lamented that her English was inadequate. Well, let
me tell you, it is GREAT. You explain what you are having difficulty
with and they promptly reply with the solution, always saying, write
again if this is not clear. It IS clear. I recommend it highly. And
over two years later they are still available to help me when I come up
