First installation

1. Download the software and install it
2. Enter the license key that you have purchased (purchasing the license key)

Demo (free) version

If you install the program without entering the license key, the program operates in demo mode.
The demo version allows you to:

• Use both the Cash book application and the Addresses/labels management application in complete mode
• Use the Simple accounting, the Double-entry accounting and the Multi-currency accounting applications in demo mode.
  Using the demo mode, you may enter up to 50 transaction-rows over a time span of a month.
  If you enter more than 50 transactions, the file cannot be saved.

Version 5 update

The upgrade from Banana accounting 5 (or the earlier 4, 3 and 2 versions) to version 6 is for sale (see Purchase page).
Follow the "First installation" procedure and enter the purchased license key.
What's new in version 6.

Version 6 update (from 6.0.0 to 6.04)

To verify the version installed, please go to: Help Menu / Copyright and Info / Version: 6.0.X.

• Download the software and install it again (just like the first installation). User's settings and license key will be maintained.

If have you installed a Banana 6 beta (test) version, desinstall the beta program; continue by proceeding with a first installation.
